OUR WHYS

Why This?

At this moment in history, the Palestinian, Arab, and Middle Eastern communities are facing unprecedented challenges, both at home and abroad. The need for empowerment, solidarity, and a united call for justice has never been more urgent. We are driven by the understanding that now is the time to act—to amplify the voices of those who have been silenced, to create educational opportunities that foster change, and to build stronger, more resilient communities rooted in justice and healing.

We are called to this work not just because it is necessary, but because it is our duty. We Liberate the World is a collective call to action—because now is the time to heal, to empower, and to rise. The world is watching, and we must act with the urgency and courage that this moment demands.

Empowering Palestinian Voices

For too long, Palestinian voices have been marginalized, misrepresented, or erased. Their stories and struggles are often overshadowed by false narratives that dehumanize and distort their experiences. We Liberate the World exists to change that by centering Palestinian voices, ensuring their stories are heard and valued. By telling our own stories, we reclaim our power, dignity, and right to self-determination.

Fighting for Equity and Justice

Marginalized communities need spaces to not only survive, but thrive. In times of crisis, safe, empowering spaces for connection and solidarity are essential. We Liberate the World fosters these spaces, where Palestinian, Arab, and Middle Eastern individuals can come together, share experiences, and build resilience. Through unity and mutual support, we create a network of individuals committed to justice and liberation.

Building a Stronger, Resilient Community

For too long, Palestinian voices have been marginalized, misrepresented, or erased. Their stories and struggles are often overshadowed by false narratives that dehumanize and distort their experiences. We Liberate the World exists to change that by centering Palestinian voices, ensuring their stories are heard and valued. By telling our own stories, we reclaim our power, dignity, and right to self-determination.

Why Now?

At a time when the global Palestinian struggle for freedom, dignity, and self-determination is facing increasing attacks and erasure, it is essential that we respond with urgency, courage, and collective strength.

The work of decolonization, justice, and equity requires both reflection and action. It requires us to come together, and collectively envision the future that we want to see—a future where Palestinians, Arabs, and Middle Eastern communities are empowered, their histories honoured, and their struggles for justice are met with transformative solidarity.
